A simple and delicious spaghetti bolognese made with Prego Traditional pasta sauce, minced meat, and vegetables.
Ingredients List
250g Prego Spaghetti or Prego High-Fibre Spaghetti, cooked and drained
1 can / 350g jar / 1/2 jar 680g Prego Traditional pasta sauce
200g spaghetti (cook according to instructions on packet)
3 tbsp olive oil
250g minced beef or chicken
1/4 carrot, diced
5 button mushrooms, quartered (optional)
Preparation Instructions
Heat olive oil until hot in a pan. Stir fry minced beef or chicken until nicely browned. Next, add onion, carrot and mushrooms, and stir until fragrant.
Pour Prego Traditional pasta sauce – stir and simmer for 5 minutes (a little water, salt and black pepper can be added to preference).
Serve Bolognese sauce over cooked spaghetti and enjoy.
