This omelette is a favourite dish for Malaysians. It’s not included on the menu at my restaurant, but whenever my fellow Malaysians visit, there is always a special request for it. This simple dish is served as an accompaniment to other main dishes. Two ingredients that are essential are the onion and chilli, but you can use additional ingredients if you like, such as chopped spring onions and sliced mushrooms.
